Donated Foodstuff Cumulative Totals

Over 14 tonnes of essential groceries donated to frontline workers at the NHS as of this week! Thank you to all who have supported us so far!
Fuel Our Frontline has been established to provide essential grocery packages to the NHS frontline staff such as doctors, nurses, and support staff such as cleaners who are working long shifts to fight the virus for all of us.
The Fuel Our Frontline team is made up of people from different professional backgrounds including NHS staff who have first hand experience of the difficulties faced by those working in our hospitals at this difficult time. It has been reported to us by a number of frontline staff that they are having trouble accessing food and they are spending a huge amount of the time that they need for rest between long shifts locating food to keep them going in their fight for all of us. This is not right or sustainable.
Fuel Our Frontline’s efforts will start off on a small scale providing as many grocery packages as we can. We need you!! Whether it is through funding, providing food, or the use of your specialist skills! Please see action for further information. Let’s help the people who are fighting this for all of us!!!!
This is a 100% voluntary project and all funds raised and resources provided will be provided to our Frontline NHS staff.

Who are we?
Michael Polak - Usually a barrister and Director of Justice Abroad. He is co-ordinating the effort. Director of Fuel Our Frontline CIC.
Kyriaki Pouangare - Architect and web designer. Director of Fuel Our Frontline CIC.
Brendan Watson - Software Engineer, technology and delivery. Director of Fuel Our Frontline CIC.
Conor O’Dwyer - Helping out with social media and delivery, our hands on man.
Mo Aouf Azzawi and Emma Nash - Husband and wife NHS superteam, Registrars at Guys and St Thomas and Hillingdon hospitals respectively. Advising on the needs of NHS staff and delivery.
David Arthur - Scotland co-ordinator.
Alex Loughran - Former BBC Executive Producer and Magistrate, assisting with the PR and Marketing.
Mig Farinas-Almeida - Principal Lecturer, Accounting & Finance at the University of Greenwich.
Anke Winchenbach - Teaching fellow, Sustainable Tourism at the University of Surrey.
Melanie Cooke - Solicitor, assisting to co-ordinate the effort and to raise funds.
What are we doing?
After hearing direct accounts from NHS staff who have described their struggles to buy simple grocery products and spending hours visiting different stores when they should be resting after long and gruelling shifts on the frontline fight against the virus we set up Fuel Our Frontline. We are a varied team form a number of industries and backgrounds including serving frontline staff
Fuel Our Frontline buys grocery wholesalers who usually supply the restaurant industry and provides these to frontline staff who are able to take a bag of groceries home with them so the do not have to go out shopping when they should be resting. Please have a look at pictures and videos and the reviews by our NHS staff to see the what you generous support is enabling us to do.
What started off as a small scale project is growing rapidly and our voluntary team are very excited and determined to #FuelOurFrontline so that our NHS staff can concentrate on what we need them to, fighting this virus for all of us.
It goes without saying that this effort is totally voluntary and all resources and donations provided go to to those on the frontline in our health service.
